I almost returned the item as I did not see an instruction manual. A deeper search of the box, revealed the manual. It is important to have the manual as it allows you to select the right screws to assemble the various components of the chair. The video at the Amazon site (you cannot download the video) was also very helpful to avoid assembly errors. The whole process took about 35 minutes. The instructions were clear. All the necessary screws including the dual wrench-screwdriver were properly labeled to allow assembly without making mistakes. So far the chair is vey comfortable. I especially like the neck support as I am prone to neck pain.
