This is a very heavy-duty fold up chair that is large and sturdy. It's said to have a 500lb capacity and it definitely feels like it can handle that much weight. This is much different than typical chairs you find in store -- this chair is heavier with thicker seating material and thicker metal supports.It's fairly heavy as compared to typical chairs but should be able to be carried by 1 person. It's all in one piece (except for the storage pouch) so there's no real assembly to do. It folds up/out. The metal is very solid and the ends have flexible flat pieces that try to find their own balance.One important thing to note with this is the size of the seat and overall. It fits very large adults (tall or big-bodied) -- the seat is wide and it sits up fairly high. Although it will fit smaller people, I want to mention this because it feels comfortable for full-size/larger adults. Included with this is also a can/drink/beer holder along with a storage pouch. It's perfect for camping/beach/general sitting.The price is high but this is US made and stays true to its advertisement: it's heavy-duty, comfortable for large adults, and is made very well. If that's what you're looking for, this is it.
